Meet The Doctor
Dr. Michael Lochtefeld D.D.S.
Dr. Lochtefeld was born and raised in Northern Ohio where he graduated from Lexington High school in 2006. Upon graduation, Michael attended the University of Akron where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Biology.

As an enormous Buckeyes fan, Michael then fulfilled his academic dream by choosing to attend The Ohio State University where he completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. While at OSU Michael was chosen as student dentist to the Ohio State Athletic Department. During this time, he was responsible for handling the routine and traumatic needs of OSU’s athletes and made MANY mouth guards for their use on the field.

Dr. Lochtefeld began working at this office location in April of 2017 after moving back to Ohio from South Carolina. In October of 2019, Dr. Lochtefeld decided to make this office his dental home, as he had grown close to his patients being the only doctor working at this location for nearly 3 years. He purchased the practice from Dayton Comprehensive Dentistry and renamed the practice Michael Lochtefeld DDS. For Michael, the best part of being a dentist is helping people look and feel their very best.

Outside of the office, Dr. Lochtefeld enjoys spending time with his wife, Caitlin, and their two adorable little girls, Helena and Catherine. Cheering for the Buckeyes, getting out on the golf course and reading a good book top his list of personal hobbies.
Ashlyn, Dental Hygienist
We are proud to have Ashlyn as part of our hygiene team. With more than 10 years of experience in the dental field, she is passionate about helping patients maintain healthy, confident smiles.

Ashlyn began her dental career as a dental assistant, gaining valuable experience in prosthodontics and restorative dentistry before earning her Dental Hygiene degree from the University of Cincinnati. She strives to create a comfortable, judgment-free environment where patients feel welcomed, supported, and at ease. Through compassionate care and patient education, Ashlyn helps individuals improve their oral health with personalized recommendations tailored to their unique needs.

Born and raised in Ohio, Ashlyn graduated from Centerville High School and is proud to serve the community she calls home. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, exploring her passion for art and home decor, and making memories on family beach vacations.

Miranda, Dental Hygienist
We are proud to have Miranda as part of our hygiene team. Since joining Dr. Lochtefeld's office in August of 2022, she has been passionate about helping patients achieve and maintain healthy, confident smiles through personalized preventative care.

Miranda earned her Dental Hygiene degree from Sinclair Community College in 2018. She is known for her gentle touch and strives to create a comfortable, welcoming enviroment where every patient feels informed, supported, and at ease throughout their visit. By focusing on education and individualized care, Miranda helps patients build healthy habits that support lifelong oral health.

Outside of the office Miranda enjoys spending quality time with her husband, son, and their two dogs. She also loves reading, being outdoors, and traveling.

Hannah, Dental Hygienist

Since beginning her dental career in 2019 as a dental assistant, she has been dedicated to helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles through compassionate care and education.
After earning her Dental Hygiene degree from Sinclair Community College, Hannah became a Registered Dental Hygienist and has remained committed to continuing her education and staying current with the latest research and advancements in dentistry. She believes that ongoing learning enables her to provide the highest-quality care and personalized recommendations for each patient.
Hannah strives to create a welcoming, comfortable environment where patients feel at ease during every visit. She enjoys building lasting relationships with her patients while helping them achieve and maintain excellent oral health.

Outside the office, Hannah loves exploring nature and expressing her creativity through arts and crafts. Her passion for learning, gentle approach, and dedication to patient care make her a valued member of our team.
